What exactly is the Fairy Court? TOP

We are a group of independent fairy and fantasy artists working together to help promote one another and further our own and each other's careers through working trade shows, and festivals and advertising. Some of us are fairly well established, others are just beginning, but all of us are dedicated professionals.

So when I place an order, who do I pay? TOP

When you place an order via our website, your payment choice is given to each artist that you have ordered from. Those artists will then contact you with your total, including shipping and an estimated lead time.  Your information is not given to any artists you do not order from, and you can rest assured your information is treated with the utmost  respect and security.

Does that mean you are a wholesale sales rep? TOP

Not really, but kind of.  There is no middleman in a show room somewhere taking a percentage from every sale.  You do work directly with the artists you are ordering from. So, in that way, we are not like a sales rep.  But we do represent one another at shows when we cannot all be there.  Our manager, Jacqueline, is one of our artists and she does most of the sales and paperwork, but we all help out where we can with those things we have strengths in, such as web design or graphics or display design.

What are your terms and conditions? TOP

We have a website standard minimum of $150 per order. Your order can be spread amongst any of the artists you choose. There is a 3 unit minimum per item as well.  Lead times vary depending on the artist, their FOB and if the item is handmade or out of stock.

We require a valid resale or tax id number on every order.

What are your shipping charges? TOP

Shipping is not charged when you place your order, due to the many different locations of our artists. It will be added by each artist you have ordered from and you will be notified of your totals before your card is charged and before shipping. We recommend buying more than one item from each artist you are interested in per order to take the most advantage of shipping rates.

I'm not a wholesale customer, can I still order? TOP

This site is for wholesale purchasing only at this time.  However, we all welcome retail shopping at our individual websites. You can find the links for these at the bottom of our Bio pages in the left hand navigation menu under each artists name, or in the Links page in the top navigation menu.

I'm an artist wanting to get involved. How can I join The Fairy Court? TOP

Thanks for your interest! We think its a pretty neat idea too.  While we are always taking submissions for new members, we unfortunately are not always adding them.  We have a membership limit in order to best serve everyone. If you would like to send us an email, please do.  We will keep it in our files for when we are adding new members.  Please note the following tips for potential new members:

  1. We add new members via committee with all of us voting.  Please do not send us hard copy submissions via snail mail as there is no easy way for all our members to view such material.
  2. We choose new members based on several factors: quality of work, professionalism, uniqueness of work compared to our current members, and how well the artist themselves may fit in with our group, personality-wise.  If you do not like email or are not web savvy, you probably wont fit well.  We are an international group and do most of our communication via the internet so we need our artists to be easy to communicate with.
  3. The Fairy Court is not a publisher, licensor, or sales rep group. All members are expected to pay for their percentage of the show costs advertising fees, and various other direct business expenses.  In addition, there is a minimal yearly membership fee.  Please be sure you are prepared for this expense before submitting.
  4. The Fairy Court works to promote the artists and their products primarily to resellers through wholesale shows and advertising. If you do not already have a professional website and body of work, including products for sale on a wholesale scale, you will not benefit from being a member here.

Regardless of whether you become a Fairy Court member, we, as fellow artists on this fairy path, wish you much success and luck!
